Detailed antique invitation card from the Magistrate: “Invitation to the festive events (brunch – Rhine cruise – gala concert) for Mr. Liez on the occasion of the attendance of the participants of the XII International Press Congress.” (Nicolas Liez, editor of L'Indépendance luxembourgeoise?). A celebratory concert also took place on September 29th (?) featuring Germaine Yvonne Arnaud (1890–1958, a French pianist, singer, and actress) and Isolde Marie Menges (May 16, 1893 – January 13, 1976, a celebrated English violinist, active mainly in the first half of the 20th century).

The card measures approximately 20.00 x 15.20 cm. Printed on both sides, it is slightly soiled. The card was once folded and torn in the middle but has been amateurishly repaired with adhesive tape. Otherwise, it is in good condition. A nice collector's item.
