Bissen Luxembourg Medal 3 Karting Go-Kart Runners Swimming KBL CAKL
Lot of three 3 medals. Two medals are from Bissen (Luxembourg) and one from AP KBL dated March 25, 1982, origin unknown. 1) One medal with flag is a bronze-coloured sports medal for karting or go-kart racing. The medal, with a loop, depicts a racer in his kart on a racetrack. The medal is bronze-coloured and made of stamped metal. The reverse bears the inscription: "C.A.K.L Bissen MERCI". 2) The second medal is a gold running medal and/or athletics medal. The raised relief on the obverse shows a group of three runners in the middle of a sprint on a track. The medal, in its original box, is gold-coloured and made of stamped metal. The reverse bears the inscription: "Gemeng Bissen 1977".3) This medal with flag is a classic sports badge for swimmers. The medal depicts a swimmer, possibly in the butterfly stroke, surrounded by a buoy-like border. The medal, with a loop, is silver-coloured and made of stamped metal. The reverse bears the inscription: "AP K.B.L. 25.3.82".
The medals, as well as the box, are used but nevertheless in good condition. Dimensions: approximately 5.00 cm. 1) The medal has a slight chip on the edge. The bronze plating is slightly worn in a few places on the front. 2) The medal has a very slight chip on the edge. The gold plating is slightly worn in two places on the front. 3) The silver plating of the medal is slightly worn on both the front and back. Weight without packaging: 169 g.
