The obverse shows the seal: lion surmounted by a crown surrounded by laurel branches and the inscription: "First celebration in the Grand Duchy of the Birthday of HRH Grand Duke Adolphe 1891".
On the reverse is depicted agricultural badges and the inscription: "July 24, 1891 / International Exhibition organized by the Cercle Agricole et Horticole du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg".
